In Number Merge 2048, players slide numbered animal cards across the board to combine matching values and unlock stronger cards. Each swipe moves all cards in the chosen direction, allowing identical numbers to merge into a larger value when they collide. The goal is to carefully plan each move, create powerful animal cards, and achieve the highest possible score before the board becomes full. A preview box shows the next card that will appear, allowing players to think ahead and prepare their strategy. After every successful move, new cards enter the board from the opposite side, gradually increasing the challenge. Players must manage space wisely, avoid unnecessary low-value cards, and make smart combinations to continue their merging journey.
